Welcome to the Biodiversty Schools site

This site is a part of the BiodiversityWatch project and is designed to allow schools to build a biodiversity profile for their school with space to add pictures and information for all of the plants and animals in the school.

The system is designed to support processes in schools that will broaden and deepen students awareness about biodiversity and the many related issues. There is a range of issues that this sort of capability can be used to address.  One of our core aims is to help teachers understand ways to address the poor state of biodiversity education and implement the Sustainability area of the National Curriculum.
